The name of the class follows the time honored tradition of naming light cruisers after old Earth cities. Player designed starships are continuing to come off the assembly lines. The latest is the Civilian Class of the Soelian Twa star ship. The Soelian Twa are burrowing miners and tend to develop technology adapted to their own insectoid body styles, thus the rounded shells of starships and other structures reminding one of the telltale shell of an individual Soelian Twa. They are a familiar sight in the original Takamo: wild hell-bent-for-leather raids where missile-armed raiders of five ships or less swoop into planetary orbit, launch their missiles and scramble to get out alive. Over the past few weeks I have been talking about the various ground units you will be able to build in Takamo Universe. You may be thinking (or hoping) that I am done talking about that. Well, I’m not. Ground units are made up of various sub units like infantry, armor, mechs and artillery. However, there are other units on the ground that are made up of sub units. I want to introduce you to a ‘Runt’. The meanest runt you’ll ever meet. This guy is a Soelien Twa Infantry Soldier. The Soelien Twa fought side by side with Terran and other Grand Alliance soldiers during the Cyber Rebellion. Twa soldiers were chosen from the smaller members of the Soelien Twa drone cast. This week we began working with Dustin Baker, a talented fellow out of Washington State. Graphic Design is just one of his many talents.
