The Stellar Cloud: Exo-What? Exobiotics and Exobotanics – 10/17/2014

Alien biological life and alien botanical life. Those will be two vital fields of study for your exploration teams and your research and development teams in Takamo Universe. Alien creatures and plants will be valuable commodities in the Five Galaxies. They will provide food, construction, medicines, clothing, and chemicals for industry. Discovering additional sources of known alien animal and plant life along with the revelation of new species will be a key task of exploration ships and ground teams in Takamo Universe.

Giant worms rooted to the ocean floor like great trees and bloated floating herd animals are two examples of the kind of alien life you are bound to encounter as your empire spreads across the galaxy. Many of the creatures you find will have great value in the distant alien enclaves of the galaxy. Farming and harvesting these resources will be one of the many tasks your leaders will undertake when you assign them to manage the worlds of your empire.

So what does this mean for players?

Commerce in the galaxy runs off of the trade routes that players create. The trade routes move commodities across vast stretches of space. The exobiotics and exobotanics will make up a substantial percentage of the commodities that are transported along the trade routes that empires establish in the game.
