Player designed starships are continuing to come off the assembly lines. The latest is the Civilian Class of the Soelian Twa star ship. The Soelian Twa are burrowing miners and tend to develop technology adapted to their own insectoid body styles, thus the rounded shells of starships and other structures reminding one of the telltale shell of an individual Soelian Twa.
The majority of Twa ship designs are based on the Miner’s bodies themselves. there are several different sizes of Twa ships and all but the carriers are similarly designed. Ships are standardized and compartmentalized, so the rear “legs” are engines, the middle legs may be landing struts, weapon pods or additional engines, and the front legs are landing struts weapons or sensor suites. Twa ships use similar hull configurations but the “leg” configurations vary depending on the class. One of the few Twa victories during the Baxel War of Extermination occurred when a cyborg recon force attacked a Tramp Mining Fleet that turned out to be a Twa fleet of Heavy Cruisers.
