A Brief History of the Galaxy – Part 13 – 10/16/2015

In 4353, the last functional foldgate in Estra was destroyed in the Coldstream Ring Nebula at the Matathra starsystem. The gate was destroyed by order of Zetta Destroyer Squadron Commander Weturi Deppros, when he detonated a micro-singularity device in the mouth of the gate when the foldgate control station on the Ice Moon Rado was overrun by KMR “Killer Myron” cybers.

A Cybernetic Conclave was held in 4354, at the Charon Governance World, Taranetta-5, in the Hassatta Nebula of the former Kvizier Territories. All major cyborg and cybernetic factions were represented and diplomatsom the subservient cyborg and biological slave races were summoned midway through the conclave. The delegates divided the Estra galaxy into areas of control and established prospective territorial protocols for future incursions into other regions of the Five Galaxies. Subservient races were classified and assigned tasks as local governance subdivision officials to handle the looting of starsystems within their areas of responsibility, including the elimination of any residual sentient biological life forms.

At the conclusion of the conclave, cyber forces moved into their assigned regions to begin carrying out the goals enumerated in the conclave agreement. Cyber starships patrolled for rogue biological squadrons and worlds while ground forces cleared occupied worlds of remaining sentient life forms and converted resources for cybernetic use. Along with these activities, certain special task forces began to seek out and refurbish the ancient foldgates that remained in Estra.
