Earlier this week I went to the interior of a command and control center in Takamo Universe. It was clearly still under construction, but it was marvelous to behold. The main control room was huge. It had massive windows looking out in all four directions. The forward view was of a beautiful blue planet that filled the screen. The view to my left was a docking station with a fleet tug moored to the dock. All around the main view port were big screens handling data and communications. The floor was a series of interconnected wire grids. The ceiling was not in place so I was looking out into the starry darkness.
This is the command and control facility that will be at the heart of your empire. From here, you will review all of your empire statistics, design and build starships and other assets, and issue orders to your forces.
Some new star ships are arriving. There is a big Terran starfighter carrier, a series of three system ship classes, these are defensive boats that cannot jump out of the starsystem. The darkest addition to the starships is the Cybernetic Battleship commissioned by the Charon Empire. It is over three hundred meters long and able to carry a host of weapon systems. The next in the series is a starfighter carrier based on the same chassis. Although the Cybers have for the most part passed from Estra, they are still a distant yet ever present threat.
As our narrator would say “The Galaxy is beginning to come to life!”
