    In a system of space snuggled between three blackholes, the Anlane systems and its inhabitats thrived. The Grand Council, made up of representatives, Clan chiefs, from the hundreds of clans managed the Empire to great effect resulting in centuries of peace and prosperity. The history of the numerous clans is long and each representing great houses in times more ancient. Now, they are separate factions unto themselves and together make up the ruling body of the Empire. The time I mention here in the history of the Anlane is known as The Weeping. It was the time of the Shredders (what the Anlane called Cybers), machines who know nothing of the wonders of life. Only that it must be destroyed!

    The Empire was attacked without warning, beginning with those worlds and colonies on the fringe of
    Anlane space. No negotiation, no explanations, no offers, no communication, nothing but utter destruction. The Grand Council split, frightened by the horrifying destruction of the Shredders many fled to their own worlds gathered what population they could and fled Anlane seeking safety somewhere among the stars. All that remained was one hundred clans. One hundred clans to battle the Shredders and protect the Empire.

    The war was short but fierce. Many shipyards and manufacturing facilities were quickly lost to the Shredders with the defection of the many fleeing clans making it more difficult to face our enemy. Eventually the realization came to ‘The ‘Hundred’ that the war was lost and the decision made to leave Anlane and seek a new home elsewhere. However, unlike the mass scattering of the earlier clans, ‘The Hundred’ left together to seek a safe haven for their people.

    It has been many generations since The Weeping and ‘The Hundred’ have settled into an area of space they refer to as the Karkyre. It is here where ‘The Hundred’ will rebuild. They will prepare for the day when they once again meet the Shredders. They will seek out those who betrayed the Empire. Those clans who abandonment their kind should know why they will die, so know this, the children of ‘The Hundred’ will seek you out and make you pay.

    The clans of ‘the Hundred’ are now known as ‘The Clans of the Blackhole’ and they are coming.

    Another mechanics question;

    I have fleet #1 with a ship that has an aggression rating of 40 at xxx12121. My civ aggression level is 70.
    I build 5 more ships and assign them, with the build order, to fleet #1. Do all ships in fleet #1 have aggression level of 40 or 70? I would think 40, but I take nothing for granted! thx in advance

    thanks for the help. I knew it asked for the quantity in the SP# column, but wasn’t sure it was to fill up one probe ship or to bring a probe ship up to full load. Good to know that I can load 25 probes onto a fleet with 5 probe ships in its makeup. Now if I want to transfer 3 of those probe ships to a new fleet, does the requisite number of probes automatically go with it? I would think so as the transferring fleet wouldn’t have cargo capacity for them, but one never knows exactly how they want the order listed.

    When loading probes onto probe ships, can I load all the probes needed to fill the probe ships if they are all in the same fleet? If Fleet 1 has 3 probe ships, can I load 15 probes in that one order to fleet 1 and fill all 3 probe ships?

    Just so I understand overhaul correctly, if I overhaul a corvette class 1, pay the difference in cost, it becomes a corvette class 2 at the current TEC level of the planet it is at? If so, I guess it works the same for all class ships? Or does it only raise the TEC level of the ship and not the class?

    An additional question. I’m assuming you could overhaul a transport, starliner, freighter etc. if it was loaded!?

    I have seen it twice in my last turn. TL of PROBE ship is 18, loaded probes from TL 19 planet. Planet status that was identified as ‘inhabited’ were from these probes launched from Probe Ship.

    When you get a planet scan that states ‘Inhabited’ under status, I guess one can’t assume the planet is terraformed? Or can they?
