Having different tech paths sounds interesting. You could have two different players such as Miners that have slightly different abilities/bonuses/etc…

I’ve been backing a lot of Kickstarter projects lately and offer this advice:

Discuss the project with the intended audience before launch. You’re doing that now, just keep it up.

Discuss the backer rewards with the intended audience before launch. A lot of projects fail because the rewards aren’t really what the backers desire.

Get more publicity. Players tell their friends. Get more coverage in gaming forums, etc…

Celebrity power goes a long ways. Perhaps find a Sci-Fi actor or author that would be interested in having a free Takamo setup.
