PLAYER APPRECIATION SHIP CHANGE

The specs for the player appreciation ships are listed below:

BATTLECRUISER 2 – Standard Warship.

HEAVY TRANSPORT – Larger, armed version of the Transport. 100 MU capacity

In the first round of ship builds I did not name the vessels. Whenever a ship is not named in the ship build action, the program defaults to the ship class and gives it thate class name. So, all Heavy Transports are named HTRN and all Battlecuiser 2 are named BCA2.

All of the player appreciation ships were built as Tec Level 30 ships so the HTRNs you have in the fleets have a firepower/defense value of 30 each (the equivalent of a Tec 11 Corvette. The BCA2 have a firepower/defense value of 660 each.

Just to let everyone know, the volume of players to build for this time around was a bit more than we planned for and we have had a few snafus. PLAYER APPRECIATION SHIP CHANGE

Well, it looks like we have to make a change in the promised star ship for Player Appreciation Week. It turns out that the Nomad Assault Transport does not work for any player other than a Nomad. Didn’t remember that.

In exchange, we will provide each player empire with 10 Tec 14 Heavy Transports and one Battlecruiser II. You’ll still have the capacity to carry 1,000 MU and a warship to boot. Total value of the package is 8,800 RU.
