I always thought the Nomad platform ability was amazing.

Gedi has not returned to the original Takamo PBEM but rumors persist that they may be found in Takamo Universe.

Nomads had the ability to move their planets. Hyperspace engines the size of great cities folded space and allowed them to jump their worlds to new orbits around nearby stars. Maintaining atmosphere in this process was a highly guarded secret.

Whenever a Nomad Platform jumped, any fleets in orbit came along for the ride. The Nomad empires used this to good effect in their wars with other races. Their platforms often acted as giant transports with many Nomad and allied warships in tow as they jumped directly into enemy star systems.

Grishaka empire clans were among the first of the alien lords to realize the futility of resistance to the cybernetics. They left the Radnian Cluster early in the Third Age. Rumors of sightings persist, however.

The standard assault technique used by Gedi cybernetics in the Third age was a straight on assault with their main fleet. Planetary torpedoes were soaked up by the first wave of the fleet, which numbered 700 or more starships. Losses were replenished by the RUs gained by looting and dismantling the planet.
